Summer Reading Fun! Read for a Chance to Win Prizes at Phillipsburg Library

summer-reading

Summer has just gotten a whole lot more fun, thanks to Phillipsburg Free Public Library’s Summer Reading Programs*.  Read books for a chance to win prizes!

Children’s Summer Reading

Teens/Young Adults Program

Adult Summer Reading

Every summer reader is a winner!  According to a three-year study at University of Tennessee, Knoxville, children who do not read in the summer lose two to three months of reading development. The study also showed that students who read during the summer showed a significantly higher level of reading achievement.

Summer reading isn’t just for kids.  Reading helps everyone write better, spell better and increases our vocabulary.  Need some reading recommendations? Choose from the Library’s selection of print and digital books, join the book clubs or pick up a free copy of BookPage for great reading suggestions.

Please visit the Library in June to learn more about PFPL’s Summer Reading Programs* and to participate in special events!

*Sponsored by Friends of PFPL, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization of Library volunteers and advocates who support our Library’s mission to inspire lifelong learning, advance knowledge and strengthen our community.
