Thank You for supporting the annual Spring Book Sale at Phillipsburg Free Public Library!
We are especially grateful to our community for donating books and attending our book sales. All proceeds from the book sale support educational and cultural enrichment programs at the library and will be used to purchase much needed new books, DVDs and audio books for children and adults.
Our Spring Book Sale also enables the Friends of PFPL to support the National Center for Family Literacy, which has helped more than 1 million families all over the United States make educational and economic progress through family literacy programs since 1998.
A very special thank you to library staff and the many volunteers who worked tirelessly throughout the year, processing and organizing the donations, stocking the tables at the sale, collecting money, helping buyers carry books to their cars and cleaning up after the sale.
Donations of new or gently used ...

Book donations for the Friends of the Library’s annual Spring Book Sale are needed. New or gently used books, DVDs, CDs, videotapes and audiobooks are greatly appreciated.
We also need cardboard copy paper boxes with lids. Please bring your book donations and/or copy paper boxes to the Library. Sorry, we cannot accept toys or damaged books.
All proceeds from the book sale support educational and cultural enrichment programs at the library. If you would like to support the library and meet some interesting new people, how about volunteering to help at the Spring Book Sale? If you’d like to volunteer, contact Dana Syers at info@FPFPL.org
This 100% volunteer, community-wide effort involves sorting books of all sizes and categories in the weeks before the sale; and set-up, organization, cashiering and straightening-up on the days of the sale.
Book Sale dates are:
Thursday 4/25 6:00PM – 8:00PM Friends members only. Dues must be received by Wed ...
