December 9 – 3rd Annual Family Holiday Storytime Party

    Can you believe that the Holiday Season is fast approaching?  Plans for our 3rd Annual Children’s StoryTime Holiday Party are well underway. If you joined us before you know we had a good time. If this is your first, the children are in for a treat. So, won’t you bring the kids and join us? New this year - Pizza.  R.S.V.P. by November 30th. As always, volunteers are welcome and needed to help with the party, games and crafts and to read a story or two. As a special treat this year, our board member Pat Brisson, a published young readers author of 20 books, will not only participate in storytime but will give-away a signed copy of one of her books as a prize. Everyday Art 4 Caring Club Exhibition

The EA4CC has on display, in the library lobby, a collection of eclectic art works created through the coloring books for adults classes. The main focus of the classes is coloring, but other types of art medium are being explored and have been created. The display began August 1 and will remain until August 31. The collection changes each Wednesday. These art coloring classes are the brain child of instructor/trainor Rev. Judi Painter. With the popularity of coloring books for adults taking off, instructor Judi thought to hold classes at the library, where the community could gather to learn something new, meet each other, share ideas, decide what types of artwork is to be explore and simply just have fun.
