Friends of PFPL Announces New Board Member

The Friends of PFPL elected its newest Executive Board member, Gayle Rogers, at the Friends annual meeting on October 8, 2015. “We are thrilled to have Gayle join the Friends,” said incoming Friends of PFPL President Allison Knabb. “With her professional and volunteer experience, Gayle will help the Friends fulfill its mission of stewarding and supporting the library.” A Warren County resident since 2001, Gayle attended Essex County College and other institutes for diverse educational courses and certification programs. In 2013 she retired from a 39 year career in the insurance industry that spanned from underwriting to I/T system analysis and development of business requirements to branch operations process analysis/requirements and training. Friends of PFPL recently had an opportunity to catch up with Richard Buralli, President of the Library’s Board of Trustees. Friends of PFPL: Thank you for sitting down with us, Mr. Buralli. We know that you are very busy with all of your volunteer activities. Can you tell us about some of your favorites? Richard Buralli: I have always been a member of the Friends of the Library and was treasurer for two long stints. My wife and I are long time volunteers for the Phillipsburg Meals on Wheels program. I also served as treasurer for two years and later as president for four years of the Warren County Retired Teachers Association.
