Pub Trivia at Phillipsburg Library

Pub Trivia for adults 18+ is one of the many games at the Phillipsburg Library. Trivia is a friendly competition testing your fun, did not know that you knew, knowledge of United States trivia, pop culture, geekdom, random facts, and more! Next scheduled date to be posted soon. Other Friendly Games for adults 18+ are held every Tuesday afternoon 1:00PM-3:00PM. This is great community and social time. Children’s Department @ PFPL

Libraries are one of the best places for children to get acquainted with the world of books, knowledge and information literacy. The Children’s department at Phillipsburg Free Public Library offers several free programs and activities such as story times with brightly colored picture books, songs, games, art and craft, that help to stimulate a child’s language skills.  Computers are available for children to do homework or play educational games on the Early Literacy Stations.  Each Early Literacy Station features more than 60 educational software titles spanning seven curricular areas and is a dynamic all-in-one digital learning solution for children ages 2-8.  These fun and engaging games will help children build early learning skills in math, reading and science.  Young children can follow their own interests and learn at their own pace.  Bring your children in to the Library and get them started on the road to lifelong … Read entire article »

Information about the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program

For Your Information What You Will Need to Bring to Your VITA Appointment for 2016 Tax Season As tax season approaches, many people find filing taxes to be a complicated process. To try to help with this confusion, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance will provide free tax help at Phillipsburg Free Public Library. Volunteers will be available to answer questions about what you need to bring to your VITA appointment. Dates and available times will be posted at a later date. As always, assistance in tax preparation will be offered to qualified residents.
